ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION
The Environmental Preservation initiative of the Camboa Institute is centered around its Native Plant Nursery, a program dedicated to preserving biodiversity and supporting environmental restoration across the region. The Institute is located within an area of Tabuleiro Forest, a characteristic vegetation formation of Brazil’s northeastern coastline composed of species adapted to sandy soils, dry periods, and constant winds.
The nursery is responsible for the propagation and cultivation of native plants, with more than 76 species cataloged. In 2025, over 300,000 seedlings were produced for landscaping in Grupo Carnaúba developments, donations to schools, revitalization of public spaces, and reforestation initiatives.
