Mais Vida Menos Lixo was developed in collaboration with waste management specialist Visões da Terra, and local recycling association CoopBravo.

 

It is a holistic waste management program in Barrinha (Acaraú municipality, Ceará), encompassing the whole waste management cycle  – from disposal and collection to recycling, transforming waste into resources for the local community.

 

It involves an active participation of local individuals and businesses, and public authorities.
