In August 2025, the Camboa Institute formalized a partnership with SAS Brasil and joined its network as a UTA (Telehealth Unit), offering dermatological screening services at the Camboa Institute House.
SAS Brasil operates through an itinerant care model, expanding access to specialists and addressing healthcare needs from prevention to diagnosis and treatment. It currently operates 32 UTAs in the state of Ceará, with four in dedicated facilities and the remainder located in Primary Health Units or partner institutions.
Dermatological screening is especially relevant in the region due to the high level of sun exposure, playing a critical role in the early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. From September to December 2025, more than 90 consultations were conducted at the Camboa Institute House.
